We are now approaching the 47th Congress from the Brazilian Biophysical Society (SBBf), which will be held from October 19 to 22, at the Convention Center of the State University of Campinas, Campinas, SP. This is our annual conference and the most traditional scientific event from SBBf. The organizing committee has prepared an exciting interdisciplinary program comprising four plenary lectures and twenty four symposia with national and international world class scientists that will showcase the most recent advances and current challenges in abroad range of research topics in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Neurobiology, Physiology and Molecular Biology.
The annual meetings organized by SBBf have been a forum for scientific discussions that contribute to the advancement of fundamental knowledge regarding biophysical phenomena and their applications, as well as for debates regarding science policy, and education that generate consensuses that over time have influenced public policies to the benefit of society.

The 47th Congress from the Brazilian Biophysical Society (SBBf) will be held at Campinas-SP, at the Convention Center of the State University of Campinas, Campinas (UNICAMP), SP.
The UNICAMP Convention Center is a space for academic and cultural activities, aimed at promoting debate and the dissemination of thought. It is managed by a multi-professional team that develops and coordinates logistical, technical, technological and administrative support actions, advising and consulting event organizers, whether from the community or external to the University. It is a space created to allow the qualified dialogue of academic activities with people and/or institutions. The Convention Center has a complete infrastructure to serve different types of events and has its own parking space. Three Auditoriums with capacities from 220 to 330 seats are available to the public, with additional internet access, technology for transmission, recording and streaming. The Hall has modular furniture for assembling secretaries to attend the public and chairs during the conference.
The venue can be easely achieved by the main highways on Campinas region with access to local public transportation, and booking apps, making it easy to travel to and from Campinas.
